- Wear as little makeup as possible. You might think you look great in a thick layer of foundation and mascara but it can look like you try way too hard.
- You can wear a little bit of lip gloss or colored lip balm if it makes you feel confident.
- Dab a small amount of toothpaste on a pimple before you go to bed. Leave it on overnight and wash it off with a wet flannel. This should help to reduce and swelling.
- If you are a tad overweight, you can still work out. Don't over-work the body though because this may lead to quitting all together. Eat healthier foods. If you are really overweight, there are weight programs for youth. But if you are not interested in losing weight, learn to dress the body. You can't wear super tight jeans that allow your stomach to hang out, and over sized clothing aren't complementary. Find clothing that fits you!
- Take advantage of the fact that you are not yet a teenager. Don't worry about your appearance, there will be plenty of time for that ahead. Focus on enjoying the last few years of your childhood!
- You can crush up bananas, and put it on your skin, leave in on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off to give you moister skin.
- Drink lots of water to help with your skin complexion and to make you feel hydrated and healthy.
- Make sure to wash off all makeup, if any, before sleeping. Makeup clogs your pores and can cause pimples!
- Carry a brush around with you so when the weather may have hit your hair, you can brush it anytime of the day.
- Wash your hair with lemon juice! It brings out natural highlights. Don't use too much though, it could damage your hair.
